It sews and embroiders like a dream. I have truly loved it. It is running the latest version of software 12536, which has the automatic jump stitch feature that is on the LE. About a month ago I was in a sewing class and got a 'check upper thread' message. After rethreading, cleaning etc. I thought the sensor may be bad and sent it in for repair. It was just a thread in the sensor! However, while it was in being checked out I ran across an LE at a good price that was essentially new. I decided to "upgrade" but in reality there isn't hardly any difference between the two. While it was in I had the technician check everything in preparation of putting an extended service contract on it, which they offered to do, but I found that it would not be transferable to a new buyer.
