Up for auction is a gently used, but almost brand new Bernina 140 Electronic Sewing Machine. You will not find a better sewing machine that will serve you well for many years to come! Excellent shape and as I said, it looks brand new! My grandfather bought this brand new for my grandmother in hopes that she could get back to her crafting. My grandmother worked on a couple of quilts and then she became too sick to sew any more. After that, it was used to mend a few clothes. If you want to compare it to miles on a car it was probably used less than 50 hours in all. My grandmother passed away last February and now the sewing machine needs to go to someone who will enjoy it. It comes with the instruction manual, foot medal, and a full colored catalog. Also included is a tape that introduces the Bernina Line. It comes with a colorful booklet that included all the accessories that can be used with this machine. A walking foot with seam guide was purchased separately. It is an Activa Virtuosa #008 372 7100. The cost of that was $89.95 and the price tag is still on the package. This item is new in it's original box. The sewing maachine has no cracks or dents or any damage of any kind. The machine has been very well taken care of and whoever purchases it, will be very pleased! The serial # is 008 402 8005.
