MY WIFE PURCHASED THIS BERNINA 1130 NEW AND RECENTLY UPGRAGED THE BERNINA 1130 SEWING MACHINE This Bernina 1130 is a heavy duty electronic machine, in excellent condition This machine has all the standard accessories that originally came with it, plus many other items that Quilters will appreciate; INCLUDING THE WALKING FOOT, This machine is extremely clean & in good to excellent condition, having been recently professionally serviced. The carry case is in excellent condition, its storage door functioning well. The electrical cords are clean, in good shape, & retract easily into their housings (both power cord & foot pedal cord). The motor is very strong & smooth with good brushes. This heavy duty machine runs very fast, typical of 1130s that always seem to feed & run a little faster than most other Berninas, especially noticable on those long straight stitch or hem runs. Press the 1/2 speed button for slower precision and it's just as strong. This particular machine sews smoothly, with strength & no hesistation, & the DC motor will handle thick materials at slow speeds, with its high torque. It easily handles all materials without tenison changes, whether it’s thin materials or multiple layers of heavy fabric. Balance is maintained through a variety of different materials and thicknesses, always giving perfect stitch formation; the usual for a Bernina that’s clean and properly maintained. *All sewn samples I created myself on this machine and are included. * I have all the original accessories with this plus many extras (including extra feet, bobbins, etc.).
