Babylock Imagine WAVE Serger – GREAT Condition Picture and Description:
Up for auction is this wonderful Baby Lock Imagine Wave serger. I am the original owner and purchased it in July 2008. When I first bought it I used it maybe once a month to make some pajamas for my grandkids or edge a fleece blanket, but during the last year way less than that. As you can see from all the pictures this Imagine Wave is in pristine condition and I have been meticulous about keeping it clean and free from lint. I take care of my machines & am very easy on them! I really hate to sell it, but I need to downsize and see this great machine go to someone who will use it. I have set a very reasonable Reserve for amount on this auction only because I don't want to just give this beautiful machine away (hope you understand). The Imagine Wave is famous for it's Jet-Aire threading & I must say no other serger is this easy and painless to thread. It has automatic tension so you don't have to fool around with all those tension dials either. There is a single tension adjustment screw although I don't think I ever changed it from the automatic setting. It does all these stitches: 2 thread flatlock narrow & wide, 2 thread blanket stitch, 2 thread ladder stitch, 3 thread overlock narrow & wide, 3 thread narrow hem, 3 thread rolled hem, 3 thread flatlock seam, 4 thread overoverlock. And of course two different Wave Stitches, regular wave edge and wave rolled edge. All the stitching is & always has been perfect as you can see from the pictures; never any problems with the machine at all. You can see the beautiful Wave stitch on a fleece blanket I just edged for Project Linus. The Wave stitch uses three threads & for the blanket in the picture I used Wooly Nylon in one looper and Floriani embroidery thread in the other looper, with regular serger thread in the needle. When using the Wave stitch I highly recommend you use poly embroidery thread because it's stronger & won't snap like rayon will. The purple gingham samples are the four thread overlock with hot pink in the loopers and royal blue for both needles so you can see all the stitching. On the gingham, I flipped the fabric over to show you how both the topside and underside stitches look right next to each other. Perfect every time. Included are all the original accessories, manual, & quick thread guide chart as shown in the pictures. Sorry, I'm pretty sure I tossed out the VHS video I know it came with because I haven't had a VHS player in years! THE INCLUDED EXTRAS ARE WORTH OVER $250: - A Dreamworld Sew Steady Serger table 18"x18" in new condition no scratches at all- Baby Lock Imagine/Imagine Wave Workbook loose leaf binder never used perfect condition- Five additional feet all new never used: clear foot, blindhem foot, lace applicator foot, elastic insertion foot, pintucking foot- Four 10-packs of Organ serger needles in two sizes (11 & 13) and two styles (regular and ballpoint) The new version of the Imagine Wave is called the Enlighten and I believe retails for over $2000, so don't miss this opportunity to own one of the best and most reliable sergers out there. This serger was made in Japan. I still have the original box and styrofoam it came in, so that's what I will ship it to you in! I will pack & wrap the inside very well so it won't get damaged. Since the Sew Steady extension table and workbook are included in this auction, I will need to ship those items in a separate box also well packed. I accept PayPal only and will ship to Continental US addresses within 24 hours of receiving payment from buyer. I will ship fully insured with tracking numbers either FedEx Ground or UPS Ground. Shipping cost to buyer is what it costs me & I do not charge any handling fees. I can only estimate shipping costs so I will refund any overpaid amount after I send both boxes off to you. I also offer a 7 day money back guarantee against a DOA machine - you really won't need this but I offer it anyway as your assurance you won't end up with a lemon! Thanks so much for looking and please feel free to ask any questions you have. Good luck & happy bidding!
