Antique Early Singer Featherweight 221 1940 Pre War Sewing Machine Picture and Description:
The fine item you are considering is an Antique Early Singer Featherweight 221 1940 Pre War Sewing Machine. I have lots of photos below, so be sure to scroll down to the bottom of this page to take a better look. This nice antique Singer Featherweight 221 is easily the oldest example I‘ve found, with the serial number indicating that it‘s actually a pre war model manufactured in 1940. The machine is in excellent working and excellent cosmetic condition, and while it does show some typical minor signs of previous use and age, it makes a great cosmetic impression. The machine comes with everything you see pictured below, including the original case (tape on the case handle, but its solid), inner tray, original book, foot pedal and power cord, and all the various attachments and accessories shown in my photos below. The original plug was professionally replaced by a new but cosmetically matching and appealing plug for safety, and I have the original plug with the machine if you‘d ever like to replace it for the sake of collectablity, but the plug that‘s on there now looks great. Oh yes, the bobbin holder is with the machine and the light is lighting. Please see my photos below to have a look at this nice item. Also, you can visit our eBay "Me" page to see who we are and what we do, by clicking HERE. Foreign bidders pay actual shipping costs. We now accept PayPal. Due to the large amount of items I now auction, I can unfortunately no longer allow in person pick up of items. My return policy is that returns are only accepted if I made a mistake in the listing, not disclosing a serious issue with the item, in other words, if the item is substantively different than as described in my listing. Thanks for looking, and happy bidding!
